Hitting on the table with the hammer and fist,
can you get another vomit before you get pissed?
Riding on a daisy and shouting at God.
Drinking all the coffee and finding that odd.
Come on, get it, do it, show it,
getting on fast so we’re going to have to slow it.
The stars in your eyes have got aids tonight
and the body in your breath is turning white.
Tapping on a cunt with a cricket bat.
Erection in direction of a piece of fat.
The light from the fight is much too tight,
and the brain in the wife is burning bright.
Come on, get it, do it, show it,
getting on fast so we’re going to have to slow it.
The stars in your eyes have got aids tonight
and the body in your breath is turning white.
Cheese kiss.
Creamy.
Masterpiece of psychology.
Going into a new shop.
Now would be a good time to stop.
Buying some shoes.
Nothing else to sing but the blues.
Getting beaten up by boys.
Nothing else to hear but noise.
Wear those boots.
Wear them well.
The gunman shoots.
Go to hell.
Driving around the city roads
waiting for the signal to explode.
Driving around the city roads
waiting for the whole world to explode.
Come on, get it, do it, show it,
getting on fast so we’re going to have to slow it.
The stars in your eyes have got aids tonight
and the body in your breath is turning white.
He is off into the house.
He is cooking in a shed.
He is trying to be a mouse.
At least I think that’s what he said.

One of my favorite albums of 2015, Lardo's "GUNMETAL EYES" is also one of the best recordings I've found on Bandcamp. Great post-hardcore is hard to find (in my opinion), and GUNMETAL EYES is one of the greatest examples of the genre in the 2010s. Mandatory listening. Lovdahl, Ian

"self made, self unmade"
every other lyric is worth further exploration, and every song can be played fucking loud--- what else could you want from a record? jessehd
This Parisian duo perfectly recall the best of slowcore, noise pop, and the brainier, more bummed out strains of 90s indie rock. Bandcamp New & Notable Jul 20, 2023
The latest Djunah LP channels the duo's heavy, intensely cathartic sound to reflect on living with and healing from trauma. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 14, 2023
