I’m
not sure
where
all this will lead us.
Movement
is an improvement,
confinement
is just a repayment.
I’ve missed so many things,
I’ve lost all track of time.
I’ve loved so many kings
is that a crime?
Give me some paper and I’ll kiss you later.
It may be cheaper to kill the gatekeeper.
Watch out
here comes the leper.
Fight!
Fight!
Fight!
I don’t want to be there when you come again.
Bite!
Bite!
I don’t want to see you when you masturbate.
Appetite!
I don’t want to hear you when you say my name.
Dynamite!
I don’t want to rub you when you turn to dust.
We’re cleaning
and intervening,
swimming much deeper away from the sun son
take off your clothes and let’s have some fun.
Not enough choice
the same old voice.
Ambitious tomorrow but vicious
today, come and rejoice and pray.
A long time ago
I once had your trust.
Now it’s just lust
and mental disgust.
There must be a cure.
Something obscure.
The hardest is yet to come.
So insecure.
Fight!
Fight!
Fight!
I don’t want to be there when you come again.
Bite!
Bite!
I don’t want to see you when you masturbate.
Appetite!
I don’t want to hear you when you say my name.
Dynamite!
I don’t want to rub you when you turn to dust.
This seems abusive,
not very conclusive.
Is this exclusive?
Do you want to fuck?
I find you attractive,
you find me distractive.
We’re so inactive.
Do you want to fuck?
I need an objective.
Something collective.
Hidden perspective.
Do you want to fuck?
Let’s get aggressive.
Let’s get depressive.
Inexpressive.

One of my favorite albums of 2015, Lardo's "GUNMETAL EYES" is also one of the best recordings I've found on Bandcamp. Great post-hardcore is hard to find (in my opinion), and GUNMETAL EYES is one of the greatest examples of the genre in the 2010s. Mandatory listening. Lovdahl, Ian

"self made, self unmade"
every other lyric is worth further exploration, and every song can be played fucking loud--- what else could you want from a record? jessehd
This Parisian duo perfectly recall the best of slowcore, noise pop, and the brainier, more bummed out strains of 90s indie rock. Bandcamp New & Notable Jul 20, 2023
