Let’s
get shot
for the first time
in
the mountains
we both
fall together.
Japanese women
push
away
the
dropping bombs
catching clouds,
catching clouds,
catching clouds
in my black hole.
The pieces of metal are slowly
forcing themselves out of my fingertips.
Turn right for the village on the coast
the bus there will take you to town.
If
you all
put
your hands
behind
your back
that’ll do.
Give us the folding
chair.
Too much.
The woman
next
in line
is married
to a dentist.
Death make love.
The Japanese man is happy
with the Japanese pornography.
The water is rising
the army has arrived.
No time. No time.
My sperm
is all
over
her mouth,
got to
go on
a night
mission by bike.
I
am with
the drummer
being
attacked
by dogs
persuaded
that someone had lied.
The box of effects pedals.
Not enough space on stage.
Lie down in the mess and relax
I found it on the shelves battered and broken.
Complicated, all mixed up, complicated, all mixed up, complicated, all mixed up, complicated, all mixed up.
The band is playing in Wales, this is so exciting! Broken leads (have to uses the spare ones). Clumsy driver pushed into the box. The purple box fell on to the technician’s head.
Out
side there
is
an army
base. Put
that away.
Put that away
they
might think
that it’s
a rifle.
Those
cushions
are brilliant.

One of my favorite albums of 2015, Lardo's "GUNMETAL EYES" is also one of the best recordings I've found on Bandcamp. Great post-hardcore is hard to find (in my opinion), and GUNMETAL EYES is one of the greatest examples of the genre in the 2010s. Mandatory listening. Lovdahl, Ian

"self made, self unmade"
every other lyric is worth further exploration, and every song can be played fucking loud--- what else could you want from a record? jessehd
This Parisian duo perfectly recall the best of slowcore, noise pop, and the brainier, more bummed out strains of 90s indie rock. Bandcamp New & Notable Jul 20, 2023
The latest Djunah LP channels the duo's heavy, intensely cathartic sound to reflect on living with and healing from trauma. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 14, 2023
